Hello again Julie,
As a PS to what I said last night:
Of course we can bless people. Ps 103:1. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and everything that is within me, bless His holy name.” If we can bless the Lord, we can bless people as well.
1 Peter 2:24. “By His stripes we are healed.” Matthew 8:16,17 speaks of Jesus physically healing them all, and this was to fulfil the prophecy by Isaiah, “He took our infirmities and healed our diseases.” It does mean physical healing.
And as we have both agreed, the tongue is a creative force.
As I said last night, I don’t think there is any point in continuing the discussion with Brother John. We can’t argue anyone into anything.
But I do need to emphasise that if you do have any questions, please ask.  I am ready to answer to the best of my ability. Jesus said “I am the Good Shepherd.” When you asked Jesus to come into your life, you became one of His “sheep” Jesus also said, “My sheep hear My voice” so you can ask Him, He will show you, because you do hear His voice.

Hello Julie,
Yes you are doing so well in your relationship with Jesus, in knowing Him and telling others. You have a very good input there into the lives of women, which you can do so well from your perspective, and so may God bless you in all your endeavours. We pray that these women too will have more than just a head knowledge, but know Jesus personally for themselves.
Everyone has their own special ways of serving Jesus, and this is obviously yours!

Ian said ' When we speak the Word of God, it produces life and makes changes.

John said ' We speak God's promises according to His will and God honors them.  We do not speak a word and it appears.

Hello Julie
Yes, there seems to be some misunderstanding. This is how I see it. Ian and John are both right; there is a misunderstanding of what Ian was saying. When Ian said he speaks the word of God, he means God’s word, i.e. God’s promises. We can speak God’s promises into being, which is the same as John says, “we speak God’s promises according to His will, and God honours them.”
Ian would also be referring to the scripture which says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Prov. 18:21. So as we speak God’s promises, according to His will and His word, they come to life.
As an example, we know that we have healing, because 1 Peter 2:24b says, “…by His stripes we have been healed.” It is a promise, and a statement of what Jesus won for us on the Cross. When we speak out saying “By His stripes I am healed,” we are saying what God has already said, and giving life to it.
I hope this answers your question.
Two of my friends and I had a graphic illustration last week, of how easily misunderstandings can happen, when we don’t hear clearly what the other person is saying. There were at least six different misunderstandings that arose in the one morning, (simple things like who was picking whom up, and where we were meeting), but when we three all got together and sorted it all out, it was because each of us had “assumed” what the other person had meant; when they didn’t actually mean that at all. J It caused plenty of laughter when we finally got it all sorted out; but it was a valuable lesson to learn.
So if anyone at Healing Rooms says anything at all that you don’t understand, or you are not happy about, please ask me or any one of us first, and we will talk it over with you. That way there will be clear understanding, and less misunderstanding.

I came across this lovely little scripture and commentary.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
– Luke 2:8-11 (NIV)

This famous passage of Scripture is the most beloved in our day recounting the birth of the Christ. Shepherds were regarded as one of the lowest castes of the culture in their day. They lived outside the cities and were not allowed to participate in many events. Yet to whom do the angels proclaim their good news? Who hears the greatest choir in the universe? The shepherds. The contrast is striking. The picture of the outcasts with the heavenly host gives us a glimpse into the heart of God. He takes the parts of our lives that we regard as unclean and proclaims good news. He opens our hearts to tell us what He is about to do in our generation. May we be in a position to hear the angels and join in the purposes of God for our time.

Hello Julie,
This is lovely. He does transform everyday lives, into something beautiful for Him – every time.
May you have a very special Christmas and happy New Year,

My beloved friend and ex and beautiful child's father Timothy John Anderson, would express things with ' little words from the spiritual side' sometimes.

For instance, one day when sharing our home in Ringwood, I asked Tim to buy some groceries from the supermarket for me at Eastland Shopping centre.  He would have to walk there from our home and I felt sure that Tim sempt depressed. So I prayed to beloved Jesus, and asked Him to help heal him.  I then saw a vision of Tim standing at the refridgerator in the supermarket and as i was praying I saw a white light come down from God down to him there.  It must've been God in action in realtime, healing Tim, because I told Tim, and he said " he was at the supermarket and a white light came down to him. Praise the Lord.

Another time, I was thinking about the gift of a child and Tim told me that he was grateful that I carried his child for him and the pain I went through to have it.  I thanked him for the gift of our child and  he then told me had told all his friends that I had had his child for him. Praise the good Lord.

Then, on the phone once I was discussing things with Tim in hospital, and i suddenly had a bad strange thought, that said Tim may be gay, which was irrelevant to what we were discussing.  But it was as though uncannily Tim could read my mind suddenly and he suddenly told me he is ' not gay''. Praise God that the good Lord was there too, a Birdie word in spirit.

When i was praying for Tim, after I had sent him a soft toy Giraffe and Lindt chocolates in a basket from the Florist, because Tim only had 2 weeks to live.  I prayed to Jesus that Tim saw himself as the Giraffe over and over.  As he is 6 ft 2 and tall.  Tim phoned me to thank me for the gift basket.  His first words to me were ' I am the Giraffe in your prayers.''

Tim also told me he was praying for me earlier, and I felt sure Jesus was telling me that his prayer was about God loving people who took drugs and it is okay to take drugs.

Tim told me he loved the Bible I had sent him, and said he was praying for me and would like to see the Chaplain and go to church.

A year earlier I had asked Tim if he had a Bible.  He said 'no'. I asked if there is a hospital Chaplain.  He said ' yes' and I then prayed he would acquire a Bible.  Tim asked the Chaplain for a Bible and next time I phoned he had one.  An answer to my prayers.

Another time, years before, when Tim was first diagnosed with Hodgkinson's lymphoema.  I told Tim I was praying for his cancer tumour, a golf ball sized lump in his chest. I prayed it would soften.  Then when i phoned Tim again, without me telling him what i had prayed for, he said it had softened and shrunk a little. I then told him it was a miracle, as I had been praying to beloved Jesus for it to soften and shrink.  Praise God.

Thank you Jesus that i took my prayers to the church elders at church and the healing Rooms for Tim's salvation.  Also, I e-mailed the Director of the Healing Rooms asking for prayer for Tim as the Doctor said Tim only had 2 days to live.  The church elders once again prayed for Tim's salvation and at @ 8.00p.m. Kay, his mother was with him in Hospital and said he sat up in bed suddenly at this time.  It was at this time coincidentally, 8.00pm when church elders had prayed for Tim and put the cross over him and claimed him for the kingdom and salvation. Thank you dear Jesus that Tim is with you.
